Monte Rosso Vineyard is one of the oldest and most celebrated vineyards
in California. The name aptly describes
the site: beautiful red volcanic soils rise to 1200 feet atop the
southwest side of the Mayacamas Mountains. Difficult
mountain growing conditions produce Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that make
wines of incredible depth and
concentration. Seductive spicy blackberry, floral and licorice flavors lead
to a wine both rich in flavor yet finely
balanced and elegantly styled. Only 480 cases produced.
